The terrace at this property was a delightful spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It was like having our own private oasis, complete with a barbecue for those summer cookouts. We couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind and soak up the sun.
Overlooked courtyard privacy.

Although the shower was a bit cramped and could have been larger, it was still functional. there were not enough drinks glasses provided, which was a minor inconvenience.

Dene Cottage was an absolute gem! The charming and character-filled cottage made our stay truly memorable. From the open fire to the well-equipped kitchen, everything was just perfect. The cottage's excellent Wi-Fi and television were a great bonus too. The double bedroom on the top floor and twin bedroom on the first floor were ideal for our family. Plus, the location was fantastic for exploring all of North Yorkshire. We also loved the highly recommended village pub!
These minor inconveniences didn't overshadow the overall wonderful experience at Dene Cottage. I overlooked checking for baby gates, but thankfully our toddler wasn't able to reach the door handles.

The location of this place is seriously mind-blowing. It's perfect for exploring North Yorkshire with its jaw-dropping scenery. The cottage itself is small but cosy once we figured out the heating system. The beds were super comfy and the fixtures and fittings were of top quality. The open fire and well-equipped kitchen were a major plus, and the excellent Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV kept us entertained. We loved that there was a decent-sized double bedroom on the top floor and a twin on the first floor, perfect for families. And the village pub nearby was highly recommended! our stay was an absolute blast!
